What is an Outdoor Escape Room?
Your team will start at our Chattanooga location on Market St near the Aquarium. We will provide you with a set of escape room items like locks, puzzles and clues. In addition, we will provide you with an iPad which runs the escape game app. The app will guide you on your adventure and add a bit of augmented reality fun. Start the first puzzle in our location, then the iPad GPS will guide you to each puzzle location, most of which are at the Aquarium plaza. Solve the final puzzle in time to win!

About the Story
Magic Portal
Since the beginning of time, there have been magic portals that connect our world with a fantastic parallel world . Portal guardians make sure that the gates are well secured. But one of the portal guards has been put into a magical sleep – and now evil creatures are streaming into our world. Solve puzzles in enchanted places and collect enough crystals to re-seal the Magic Portal and save our world from destruction.

Is downtown Chattanooga, near your location and the Aquarium, a good area to explore while playing an outdoor escape room?
Absolutely! Our location is just a short walk from the Tennessee Aquarium, making it the perfect starting point for your adventure. Your team will follow a scenic, walkable route with puzzle stops along the way, including at the Aquarium plaza. After solving clues and completing challenges, you’ll make your way back to our location to wrap up the experience. It’s a fun, interactive way to explore one of the most popular parts of downtown Chattanooga!
Is this a daylight only outdoor experience?
This outdoor adventure is only available during daylight hours – with longer daylight time in the summer and shorter windows in the winter. To view available times, click “Book Now” on this page and check the schedule.
What if it is raining? Can I reschedule?
If there is significant rain, we will either reschedule your outdoor escape room or put you in one of our on-site indoor escape rooms, your choice!
How long is the walk, and how long is the outdoor escape experience?
Each Outdoor Escape Room adventure has a time limit of 90 minutes, and you’ll travel a total distance of several blocks.
What should I bring?
We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, bring sunblock and some water. Other than that, take our iPad, the set of props, and have fun!
Are Outdoor Escape Games suitable for children?
Yes! All of our escape games are family-friendly.
Will I be playing with other people?
Our Outdoor Escape Games are private experiences for your group only.
How much does it cost to play an Outdoor Escape Room?
Our outdoor escape room is priced at $34.99 per person.
What if we get stuck on a puzzle and need a hint?
Hints are preloaded into each Outdoor Escape Room adventure iPad, just click the “?” button and ask for a hint. If you cannot solve that puzzle, you can skip it by clicking “?” and ask for the puzzle to be solved for you.
Will a staff member be accompanying us?
Six players per team, what if I have more than 6 players, what do I do?
More than 6 players? No worries! Split into multiple teams and compete against each other. We can run more than one game at the same time. You can book a second group online, or if you have larger groups, please call our Events Manager at 678-705-4320 x4.
What if we run away with the Action Pack, never to return?
Not to worry – each Action Pack has real time geographic tracking. Plus we have your credit card on file.
