What is your cancellation policy?

We do not allow cancellations – however, you can reschedule your game up to 4 hours before your reservation time. To reschedule, follow the link provided in your confirmation email, or give us a call

We do not provide refunds for missed bookings. If you arrive too late or are unable to make your reservation, you may choose to “stand by” for a later booking that same day (subject to availability). You can remain on “stand by” until the end of the same day as your original booking.

Can I reschedule?

We can reschedule your game up to 4 hours before your reservation time. To reschedule, follow the link provided in your confirmation email, or give us a call.

What time should I arrive for my escape game?

Please arrive 15 minutes before your game time for check-in, which includes signing waivers, restroom breaks, and a briefing by your Game Guide about rules, game play, and background story for the escape room.

What happens if I'm running late?

We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your game time for check-in, but if you’re running behind, please give us a call to update us on your ETA.

  • If you are more than 5 minutes late, the experience may start without you. We will usher you into the room, but you may not have the full 60 minutes of time remaining.
  • If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will not be allowed to join the game. This would either give you too little time to complete the experience, or interrupt others in the room who are already in progress.

We do not provide refunds for missed bookings. If you arrive too late or are unable to make your reservation, you may choose to “stand by” for a later booking that same day (subject to availability). You can remain on “stand by” until the end of the same day as your original booking.

Can I use my cell phone during the game?

We do not allow cell phones inside the rooms (including flashlight use). You’re welcome to step out of the room to make or take calls/texts at any point. We do encourage you to disconnect for the hour you’re with us, and become fully immersed in your adventure.

Can I take photos or videos in the rooms?

We do not allow photos or audio/video recordings in any of our rooms. Don’t worry, there will be photo opportunities at the end of the experience with fun props and signs to make those photos even better!

What are you Covid safety precautions and policies?

We follow current CDC guidelines regarding Covid safety precautions.

We offer shared experiences – multiple groups can book into the same escape room. To upgrade to a private experience, select “book entire escape room” before selecting a game time during your booking process and the remaining spots will be blocked out at a 50% discount.

Do you allow service animals?

Yes, service animals are allowed on all three locations.

Are you escape rooms wheelchair accessible or accessible to those with limited mobility?

Yes, all of our rooms with secondary rooms have alternative entrances that are full size doorways. Please notify your Game Guide of any accommodations beforehand and they will help to ensure a smooth game.

About Escape Rooms FAQ

What is an escape room?

An escape room is a live-action adventure game where teams work together to complete an operation with the goal to escape the room before the time limit runs out. To advance through the game, teams must discover clues, solve puzzles, and work together to reveal the mystery to escaping.

How much are escape rooms?

Our escape room prices vary depending on the day of the week*:

Mon-Thur: $31 per person

Fri & Sun: $33 per person

Sat: $35 per person

*excluding Saving Christmas, which is $26 per person everyday

To upgrade to a private experience, select “book entire escape room” and remaining spots are blocked out at a 50% discount of ticket price.

How long do escape rooms last?

Each escape game typically has a 60 minute time limit (although you might escape sooner if you’re quick witted). Our escape games are all hour long experiences with the exception of Saving Christmas, which is a 45 minute adventure.

How do escape rooms work?

At Time to Escape, we offer two options when playing our escape games: casual (unlimited hints, all about the fun) or competitive (3 hints, leaderboard eligibility). Pick which mode you prefer and our Game Guides will cater the experience to you. Once you get into the room, your goal is to uncover clues and solve puzzles to escape before the time limit runs out. Game Guides will always be there to help if you get stuck.

How to beat escape rooms?

Here are our tips for beating an escape game:

  1. Collaborate and communicate – work together with your teammates by dividing and conquering. Split up to search for clues, but share with all team members the clues you find.
  2. Organize your clues – it’s helpful to create organized piles of clues you’ve discovered so they’re easy to access when you need them. Once a clue has been used, separate it from unused clues.
  3. Stuck for more than 5-10 minutes? Consider asking your game guide for a hint.
How hard are escape rooms?

Each room varies in difficulty (check the room page for rating) that range from easy to hard. Whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned pro, all audiences can enjoy this experience. To help adjust a specific room’s difficulty, try out our casual game mode where you get unlimited hints and all the fun. Alternatively, kick it up a notch with competitive game mode where you’re limited to 3 hints and eligible for the leaderboard.

What happens if we don't escape in time?

Don’t worry if you didn’t escape in time! Our goal is to maximize the fun in our escape rooms and our Game Guides do their best to help along the way. We welcome you to come back and try again next time!

Are escape rooms scary?

Our escape games are designed to entertain and challenge, rather than scare. There are no loud noises, no jump-scares, and nothing horror-themed. Expect the experience to be thrilling, suspenseful, and tons of fun!

Are escape rooms family friendly?

Our rooms are appropriate for all audiences (family and kid friendly). Although, our escape games are challenging even for adult groups – our Game Guides will help cater the experience to your group.

Are we actually locked in an escape room?

No, if you need to leave for any reason, you’re welcome to step out. The escape games are designed with safety in mind, first and foremost. All escape rooms are closely monitored by our staff, and any doors that are locked will have an emergency exit button.

What should I wear in an escape room?

The experience isn’t physically taxing, but we do recommend wearing comfortable clothing to move about in.
